Wave at Saturn graphicCome to WonderLab to participate in a global happening! People across the world today will wave at NASA's Cassini probe, which will take a mosaic photograph of Earth, framed by Saturn's rings, from where it is orbiting Saturn! The crowd in front of WonderLab will wave at the sky from 5:27 pm to 5:42 pm, which is when the probe will be in a position to take a photo that includes Bloomington.  Pictures we take of the crowd here will be submitted to NASA's Wave at Saturn Facebook and Flickr pages.

The Cassini probe is gathering data for scientists to study Saturn's beautiful rings. NASA Solar System Ambassador Dan Cervantes and the Stonebelt Stargazers will have telescopes set up for viewing the daytime sky, and WonderLab will have a "Wave at Saturn" sign craft station and other hands-on activities to help everyone understand more about our solar system and its history. Note: The WonderLab building will not be open. All activities will take place outside.  Click here to see a NASA video with more information about Wave at Saturn.
