Event Name: Science of Art: Indiana Heritage Quilt Show
Short Description: WonderLab is once again participating in the 2025 Indiana Heritage Quilt Show (https://www.ihqs.org/) as an offsite Gallery. Quilts displayed this year are from a subsection of the Bloomington Quilters Guild, the Middle Way House Quilt Bee. They will be displayed through the month of March.

- The Indiana Heritage Quilt Show at the Convention Center is Thursday March 6th – Saturday March 8th
- Quilts are displayed at WonderLab – Tuesday March 4th – Sunday March 30th.
Discount / Price: General admission is free during the Quilt Show dates with a quilt show ticket or wristband. Date of admission must be the same as the date on the Quilt Show wristband.

WonderLab is excited to participate in the 2025 Indiana Heritage Quilt Show as an offsite gallery, showcasing the beauty and craftsmanship of local quilting artisans. This year, we are proud to feature quilts from the Middle Way House Bee, a subgroup of the Bloomington Quilters Guild who craft quilts for children served by Middle Way House. Their quilts will be displayed throughout the month of March, offering a stunning glimpse into the artistry of our local quilting community.
This exhibit is more than just a celebration of fabric and thread; it’s an opportunity to ignite curiosity and spark learning. By connecting the everyday process of quilting to the science behind it, we explore the fascinating world of patterns, symmetry, and geometry. Quilts are more than artistic expressions—they are mathematical marvels, where careful planning and precision lead to the creation of intricate designs. Visitors will see firsthand how symmetry, geometry, and pattern repetition come to life in these quilts, linking art with scientific principles in unexpected ways.
