Science of Art: Explore the Magic of the Harp
Step into the enchanting world of harp music at our special Science of Art event, where you’ll have the unique opportunity to experience the harp up close and personal! Not only that, Harp Start will be handing out free tickets to upcoming performances.
Harpists from the USA International Harp Competition Harp Start program perform, showcasing the beauty and versatility of this timeless instrument. After the performance, guests will be invited to explore the harp, guided by professional harpists who will answer questions, explain the instrument’s mechanics, and offer insights into its rich history and artistry. This interactive experience allows you to try your hand at the harp and gain a deeper understanding of the skills required to master this incredible instrument.
In addition to the performances and hands-on exploration, there will be special harp-themed activities throughout the museum gallery, designed to engage all ages and inspire creativity. Whether you’re a music lover or simply curious about the world of the harp, there’s something for everyone!
