Connecting to the Community Fund
Every child deserves the opportunity to discover the world of science and learning at WonderLab! Your support of the Connecting to the Community Fund (C2C) removes economic barriers for children with low incomes and their families.
C2C works in different ways to bring disadvantaged children into the Museum:
Free admission for group visits by social service agencies
Free field trips from qualifying schools serving students with low incomes
Free visits for “bigs” and “littles” from Big Brothers Big Sisters of South-Central Indiana
Full and partial scholarships for summer science enrichment camp
$2/person admission to the museum for families qualifying for state assistance through the Access Pass Program
You can help build WonderLab’s sustainability by contributing to one of our endowment initiatives. Contact Sally Takada, development director, at (812) 337-1337 x 14 or firstname.lastname@example.org to contribute to one of these opportunities.
Named in memory of John and Lilyan Carlson, this endowment supports full and partial scholarships at WonderCamp, WonderLab’s growing summer science enrichment camp. Your contribution ensures that children of all socioeconomic backgrounds will have the opportunity to learn during the summer months in perpetuity. This fund is currently a high-priority area for WonderLab’s fundraising efforts. Donate today.
