WonderLab is thrilled to announce that Dallas Evans has accepted the role of Executive Director, ushering in an exciting new chapter for the organization.
Dallas brings a wealth of experience in STEM education, donor relations, and museum leadership. As the Lead Curator of Nature & Science at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, he played a key role in developing renowned exhibits such as DinoSphere, Treasures of the Earth, and ScienceWorks.
In his previous role, leading Purdue University’s community development efforts in Marion County, Dallas has been instrumental in teaching and developing programs on nonprofit board development, community engagement, leadership, and grant writing.
A passionate advocate for informal science education, inclusivity, and sustainability, Dallas is committed to fostering a workplace culture rooted in safety, diversity, and excellence. His leadership will be invaluable in advancing WonderLab’s mission to spark curiosity, encourage discovery, and inspire lifelong learning.
Dallas officially stepped into the role of Executive Director on Monday, March 10, 2025. To ensure a seamless transition, outgoing Executive Director Karen Jepson-Innes will continue supporting the organization as Executive Advisor.
