How do you smell? With your nose! Humans smell with our nose, but do all animals smell with their nose? What even is “a smell?” Join us as we learn all about our sniffer and discover how other animals “smell” the world. Materials are not necessary but if you would like to participate in the activity, you will want to bring with you 3 cups of the same size and shape, something that smells sweet (ex. fruit or a cookie), something that smells pungent (ex. vinegar or onion) and something you personally like the smell of that will safely fit in the cup. This program supports Indiana Academic State standards for life sciences for grades 1-5.
