Scholarships
Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis as long as funds are available. Qualifying families can receive funding* for one session per child and then receive the member price for additional sessions. All camp registrations will be charged a $25 processing fee.
Scholarship applications will be accepted beginning January 20, 2025 through April 2025.
Important Dates:
- January 20, 2025: Scholarship application portal opens.
- February 24, 2025: Scholarship applicants who apply by February 24 will be notified of their award in time register on the first day registration opens.
- March 10, 2025: Scholarship applications received after February 24 will be processed beginning the week of March 10.
- April 30, 2025: Last day for scholarship applications. Scholarship applications will continue to be accepted through April 2025; awardees will be able to select from remaining sessions.
*Please note: The $25 administration fee is not refundable to Scholarship recipients.

Health, Safety and Liability
WonderLab is committed to ensuring that the safest camp options are available to all families.
We stay up to date with CDC and Monroe County Health Department recommendations.
Please do not send your child to camp if they are sick, feverish, or vomiting.
Frequently Asked Questions
In order to provide a safe, fun, experience for all, children must meet the following requirements to register for WonderCamp:
- Campers must be 5-years-old on or before August 1, 2025.
- Campers must be able to stay with the group independently for 90% of the day. This can include a campers with aides provided by the family.
This waiver is mandatory for all children to attend Spring Break WonderCamp. A signed copy of this waiver must be on file before the start of your camp session. If WonderLab does not have a signed copy of this waiver on file, your child will not be admitted to camp.

WonderCamp staff will do our best to meet your camper where they are, however, if your camper is not able to be with a group independently then WonderCamp is not appropriate for your child.

All camps:
- 9am to 4pm, drop off between 8:30am – 9am and pick up between 4pm and 4:30pm.
Spring Break WonderCamp:
- Bus leaves from the front of WonderLab at 8:45am.
Summer WonderCamp:
- Bus leaves from the front of UES at 8:45.
- No camp the week of July 4th (June 30-July 4th).
- No camps at UES the week of June 16-20.
Closed toe shoes s are required at Kent Farm for Feathers to Flight Camp and at Goat Conspiracy Farm for Goats and Gardens Camp.
WonderLab recommends closed toed shoes for all other camps.
- Comfortable, outdoor play clothes that allow you to be messy and active.
- Long pants, long, sleeves, and socks recommended if attending the camps at Kent Farm and Goat Conspiracy Farm
- Closed toe shoes are recommended for all camp sessions.
- Closed-toe shoes are required at Kent Farm and Goat Conspiracy Farm.
- Please label all personal belongings and materials.
Each camper needs to bring a lunch and a water bottle. Please note: there is no microwave or fridge at camp.
WonderCamp provides a healthy snack each morning and afternoon. We will serve watermelon, apples, oranges, carrots and cucumbers. Sometimes popcorn, animal crackers or pretzels are also served. (depending on allergies).
Campers may bring a snack from home if they choose. We do ask that it be a healthy snack to power up the campers. Please be sure your campers first and last name are on all items.
Need to Drop your 2o25 Spring Break Camp Session?
If you want to drop a camp session you must submit the drop form (link below).
If you are dropping a camp more than 2 weeks before the session start date, a processing fee will be subtracted from your refund. Any refunds will be returned to the credit card they were originally charged to.
If the drop form is received less than 2 weeks before the camp session start date, there will be no refund.

No. If camp is canceled due to an event out of the control of WonderLab (weather event etc.) there will not be a refund.
Insect repellent – Please apply before drop off and send insect repellent for your camper to re-apply

All campers must bring a sack lunch that does not require refrigeration
All campers must bring a full water bottle. Bottles can be refilled during the day as needed.
WonderLab will provide daily snacks of fruits and vegetables.
Camp teachers can provide alternative manipulatives and a quiet space at most locations but need campers to remain with their group for the majority of the time.
All classrooms and locations have a Sensory Backpack.
Sound modifying headphones are available upon request.

NOTE: Reapplication is the responsibility of the camper. Camp staff do not apply sunscreen.
WonderCamp strives to maintain a 5:1 ratio in all camps at all times. In order to do this we need to ensure the campers are with the group 90% of the day. We understand campers may need a break from an activity or the group, however we are not able to provide 1:1 support apart from the group for extended periods of time during the day.
WonderLab recommends a daily tick check upon pick up or arrival at home.
A “picture story” is available at University Elementary School to give the camper a visual of what camp looks like at the school.
If your camper comes to camp with any medications you will be asked to fill out a Medical Action Plan. All medications will be kept at the first aid station on site and a written step by step action plan will stay with the medication.
The best way to communicate with camp staff is in person at drop-off or pick-up.
If you need to pick-up early or come in late please let staff know at morning drop-off. Please text the camp director at your arrival and we will bring your camper to the pick up location. Please allow a few minutes for staff to gather your camper.
You can always email or call the camp director with any questions or concerns that need discussion.
- Camper should be dressed in play clothes – we recommend closed-toe shoes
- Change of clothes
- Sunscreen – camper needs to reapply throughout the day

- Lunch – NOTE: There is no microwave or fridge at camp

- Luvys – anything you might be sad about if it gets misplaced or damaged

- Toys (pokemon cards)
- NOTE: WonderCamp has many fidgets if your camper would like to use them while at camp

Campers will be released to authorized persons only-if their name is on the camper information card. If you need to add a name to your card in case of an emergency please call or text the camp director. Camp staff have the right to ask for a valid driver’s license or identification card to confirm a person’s identity before releasing a camper. We ask that ALL campers be signed out at pick up.
Summer WonderCamp changes locations on Friday to accommodate the 5 day week. MCCSC is not open on Fridays during the summer to conserve energy. All campers attending UES camps will be at SOE on Fridays.
