Electromagnetic Spectrum – In this Animal Hour we will be exploring the electromagnetic spectrum. We will talk about how humans perceive the world and highlight some animals that can see more of the electromagnetic spectrum than us humans. Materials are not necessary but if you would like to participate in the activity you will want to bring with you a white piece of paper, a flashlight and a glass of water. Feel free to bring clear glasses of different shapes and sizes to see which works best. This program supports Indiana Academic State standards for life science and Earth and space science for grades 1-5.
