What is a fossil? How do paleontologists know anything about the past? Fossils! Materials are not necessary but if you would like to participate in the activity you will want to bring play-dough or modeling clay (you can make your own play dough with 1 cup water and 1.5-2 cups cornstarch. Cocoa powder can make it brown if you want). This program supports Indiana Academic State standards for Life Science and Earth Science for grades 1-6.
