Friday, January 5 – Animal Hour – Virtual
Why are some shapes common in nature, but others are not? What determines how “good” a shape is? In this edition of Animal Hour we are going to be exploring examples of some of the most common shapes found throughout plants, animals and the cosmos. Materials are not necessary but if you would like to participate in the activity you will want to bring a plate, straw, and a mix of 50% soap and 50% water (about 1/4 cup total should be enough). This program supports Indiana Academic State standards for Life Science and Math for grades 1-6.
