Friday, August 25 – Extreme Extremities
In this edition of Dive Deeper we are going to talk about the many animals of the ocean that are able to move even though they have no bones or hard bits at all! We will learn how an animal with one of the simplest body plans can move across the ocean and how some of the smartest animals use their boneless bodies to their advantage. Materials are not necessary but if you would like to join in on the activity, you will just need a balloon or rubber glove filled with water and a towel. This program supports Indiana Academic State Standards for Life Science for grades 1-6 and Physics 1-6.
