Celebrate National Children’s Dental Health Month at WonderLab Museum of Science, Health and Technology. On Saturday, February 9 from 1 to 3 p.m. elementary schoolers and their parents can come and dive into dental hygiene through hands-on exploration at the WonderLab Health Expo: Dental and Oral Hygiene.

“Dental hygiene is incredibly important to overall health,” said Nick Whites, WonderLab’s outreach and elementary education specialist, “and helping kids learn about proper dental hygiene really speaks to the health part of WonderLab Museum of Science, Health and Technology.”

There will be a number of activities and demos run by community partners for this event. Barco Family Dentistry will explore how sugar is used in foods and what that does to it, Atrium Dental Center will have a tooth brushing demo, and Eta Sigma Gamma – Nu Chapter will have a series of dental health activities like comparing how different foods affect your teeth.

WonderLab Health Expo: Dental and Oral Hygiene is for elementary aged children and their families. All activities are free with museum admission.
